Arran has many attractions, most of all the peace and tranquility, but also the distillery, brewery, castle, soap factory, fishing, walks, water sports. We have a few brochures of the main attractions for you to browse through. Whiting Bay's local is The Eden Lodge [locally known as The Shurig]. This is a great place to meet the locals, have some good food and a few drinks. It's at the bottom of the hill and turn right. Your on you own getting back but do take that torch. There's 7 main golf courses on the island and although short all have a certain charm. Shiskine is a 12 hole course and quite possibly the most beautiful course I've ever played. There is, rather alarmingly, no 19th! it doesn't have a bar, but does excellent food on a balcony overlooking the sea. The drive from Broomhill is about 30 minutes.
